The internet is a powerful thing. Having a strong brand can open up doors that you might have never thought possible.
With that, comes a great deal of responsibility, however.
When I’m working with an organization or business I always do my best to place importance on two things before myself:
- Will my readers get value out of this?
- Will the company get the exposure it wants?
If the answer is no on either account, I usually won’t pursue it.

This is not about you. It’s about everyone else involved. Your goal when Hacking the High Life via the media and promotion is to provide as much value as you possibly can to everyone else.
Don’t forget this. I’ve seen so many travel bloggers who don’t understand the value exchange. They travel for free on someone else’s dime and provide little in return.
